The Tern Vektron Q9 is a compact 20-inch folding e-bike built for commuters who mix cycling with trains, cars and tight storage. A Bosch Active Line Plus 250W mid-drive motor delivers smooth, near-silent assistance up to 50 Nm, drawing on a 400 Wh Bosch PowerPack for a real-world range of 55 to 110 km. Because assistance cuts out at 25 km/h (15.5 mph) and you keep pedalling, it is a fully UK road-legal EAPC, requiring no licence, tax or insurance.
Tern’s reinforced OCL+ frame folds in around ten seconds and stands upright for easy rolling, while the Andros stem and resize mechanism let riders from 147 to 195 cm share one bike. A Shimano Alivio 1×9 drivetrain, hydraulic disc brakes and cushioned Schwalbe Big Apple tyres handle hills and city surfaces with confidence.
