1. About us
This website is operated by Power On Bikes Limited (trading as VOLTARC), registered in England and Wales, Company No. 15944114. Registered office: Unit 9b Ash Park Business Centre, Tadley, England, RG26 5FL. Email: hello@voltarc.co.uk.
2. Placing an order
By placing an order on this website you are making an offer to purchase goods. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to decline any order, for example if an item is out of stock or a pricing error has occurred, in which case we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund if payment has been taken.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT at the current UK rate (20%) unless otherwise stated. Bicycle helmets meeting EN 1078 are zero-rated for VAT. Prices are subject to change without notice; orders are charged at the price displayed at the time of purchase.
4. Delivery
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Full details are on our Delivery & Returns page. Risk and title in the goods pass to you on delivery.
5. Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason. To cancel, contact us at hello@voltarc.co.uk within that period. You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us. We will refund the price paid (including standard delivery) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return. Return postage is at your cost unless the item is faulty or misdescribed.
6. Faulty or misdescribed goods
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms. If goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with that Act.
7. Off-road electric machines
Sur-Ron, Talaria and similar electric off-road machines sold on this website are not road-legal in the United Kingdom. They are sold strictly for use on private land or closed circuits with the landowner’s permission. It is a criminal offence to ride them on public roads, footpaths or cycle lanes. Purchasers accept full responsibility for ensuring lawful use in compliance with applicable legislation. Road-legal EAPC e-bikes comply with the Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles Regulations 1983 (as amended): maximum continuous rated power 250W, pedal-assist only, cut-out at 15.5 mph.
8. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability to you in respect of any order shall not exceed the price paid for the goods in that order.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos and design — is owned by Power On Bikes Limited or its licensors. You may not reproduce any part without our prior written consent.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
