The Charge City is a clean, fully-equipped urban e-bike from Charge (the brand behind Cannondale and Schwinn), built for everyday commuting on a lightweight 6061 aluminium frame weighing around 20.5 kg. A 250W Bafang rear hub motor with 45 Nm of torque drives the bike to 20 mph through five pedal-assist levels and a thumb throttle, while the 418Wh removable Samsung-cell battery returns up to 50 miles between charges. Riding kit is genuinely complete out of the box: integrated front and rear lights, full mudguards, a rear cargo rack, kickstand, Shimano 7-speed gearing and grippy Goodyear Transit Tour tyres on 700c wheels. Folding handlebars and pedals make it easy to tuck into a hallway or under a desk. Standard high-step and open Low-Step frames are offered.
- Removable 418Wh Samsung-cell battery, up to 50 miles range
- Throttle plus 5-level pedal assist to 20 mph
- Lights, mudguards, rack and kickstand included as standard
- Goodyear puncture-resistant tyres and 160mm disc brakes
- Folding bars and pedals for compact storage
UK note: with a full throttle that drives the bike to 20 mph without pedalling, this is a Class 2 e-bike. It does NOT meet UK EAPC rules (250W is fine, but UK law allows no driving throttle above 6 km/h and assist must cut off at 15.5 mph), so it is for private land / off-road use and is not road-legal in the UK as supplied.
