A steel anti-rotation mounting plate and complete fixing kit for installing Bafang BBS01, BBS02 and BBSHD mid-drive motors, locking the motor against the bottom-bracket shell to stop it twisting under load. Supplied with the locking nut, fixing plate, bolts and spacer washers needed for a secure fit on standard 68–73mm threaded bottom brackets. A mechanical replacement / install spare part; it does not affect the road-legal status of your build, which is determined by the motor power and configuration fitted.

No. EAPC (Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle) e-bikes are legal on UK roads without a licence, insurance, or registration, provided the motor assists only while pedalling and is limited to 250 W / 15.5 mph.
