The Addmotor CityPro is a heavyweight city cruiser built around a 48V 500W rear geared hub motor (peaking at 907W) and a frame-mounted Samsung 48V 20Ah (960Wh) battery. That large pack is the headline feature: Addmotor quotes up to 125 miles per charge in the lowest of seven pedal-assist levels, with a roughly 10-hour recharge. A half-twist throttle drives the bike to 12 mph unassisted, while pedal assist reaches 20 mph.
Riding kit is genuinely commuter-ready: a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain, EB 2.0 hydraulic disc brakes on 180mm rotors, puncture-resistant 26″ x 2.3″ Kenda tyres, a backlit LCD display, integrated lighting, full mudguards and a rear rack. The 6061 aluminium crossbar frame suits riders 5’7″-6’1″ and carries up to 250 lb.
- 960Wh Samsung battery rated for up to 125 miles of range
- Hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors for confident stopping
- Throttle plus 7-level pedal assist and a 7-speed Shimano drivetrain
- Fully equipped: rack, mudguards, lights and LCD display
Important: with a 500W motor and a hand throttle this bike exceeds the UK 250W/15.5 mph EAPC limit, so it is not road-legal as a pedal cycle in the UK and is intended for off-road or private-land use.
