A rear-wheel conversion for 29er mountain bikes and large-wheel hybrids, built around the smooth Bafang G370 geared hub motor. Rated at a nominal 250W with pure pedal-assist and no throttle, this kit is road-legal in the UK (EAPC) with a 25km/h assist cut-off — fully legal for commuting, bridleways and shared paths. The rear-drive layout delivers strong climbing traction and balanced weight distribution on bigger frames. Accepts a standard freewheel/cassette; please confirm 135mm dropout spacing. Supplied complete with motor wheel, colour LCD, brake cut-off levers, cadence PAS sensor and sealed Higo connectors.
This electric bike meets UK Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) requirements: a 250W motor providing pedal-assistance that cuts off at 15.5 mph (25 km/h). It can be ridden on UK roads, cycle paths and bridleways with no licence, registration, road tax or insurance required, by riders aged 14 or over.
