The Co-op Cycles CTY e2.2 is a fully kitted-out urban commuter built around a Shimano E6100 250W mid-drive motor delivering 60Nm of torque, paired with a removable 504Wh battery that returns a claimed range of up to 50 miles (closer to 40 in mixed real-world riding). It is a Class 1 pedal-assist e-bike, so power feeds in smoothly as you pedal and tapers off at 20mph (32km/h) with no throttle. The 6061 aluminium frame uses a low standover for easy mounting and carries a sturdy integrated welded rear rack, mudguards, lights and a kickstand straight out of the box. A 9-speed Shimano drivetrain, hydraulic disc brakes, 75mm SR Suntour suspension fork and grippy 27.5in Schwalbe Big Ben tyres round out a confident, low-fuss ride.
- Reliable Shimano E6100 mid-drive with 60Nm torque
- Removable 504Wh battery, roughly 4-hour recharge
- Integrated rack, mudguards, lights and kickstand included
- Shimano hydraulic disc brakes and 9-speed gearing
Note: as a US-market 250W Class 1 bike assisting to 20mph, it exceeds the UK EAPC 15.5mph assist limit, so it is not road-legal as supplied in the UK without modification.
