The Aventon Soltera.2 is a slim, single-speed-looking commuter that hides a 350W rear hub motor and a 36V 9.6Ah (360Wh) removable LG-cell battery inside a clean 6061 aluminium frame. The headline change over the original is a torque sensor, which reads how hard you pedal and feeds power in smoothly rather than in fixed bursts — so assistance feels natural instead of surging. A 7-speed Shimano Tourney drivetrain, 700x38c tyres and Tektro mechanical disc brakes keep it light and uncomplicated, at roughly 46 lb, with a claimed range up to 46 miles on pedal-assist.
Important: with a 350W motor, a thumb throttle and a 20mph top speed (app-unlockable to 25mph), the Soltera.2 is a Class 2/3 e-bike. It is not a 250W EAPC, so it is not road-legal in the UK for use on public roads, cycle paths or pavements — it is intended for off-road or private-land use only.
