This Yose Power front hub kit places a 250W 36V geared motor in the front wheel, making it ideal for bikes where you want to keep the existing rear cassette and derailleur untouched. It is configured with pedal-assist plus a 6km/h walk-assist mode only – there is no full hand throttle – so it remains road-legal in the UK (EAPC) for use on public roads and cycle paths with no licence, tax or insurance. The kit ships with the front motor wheel, LCD display, PAS, brake cut-off levers, controller and waterproof wiring. Front-drive layout gives an all-wheel-drive feel when you keep pedalling. Best fitted to frames with sound steel or alloy forks; choose your wheel size at checkout.
