A 48V 13Ah (624Wh) Hailong downtube battery built with quality 18650 cells and a 30A continuous BMS for cell balancing and protection against over-current, over-charge and over-discharge. The popular Hailong case mounts to your frame’s bottle-cage bosses and locks with the supplied key for security. Compatible with 48V mid-drive and hub conversion kits including Bafang BBS02, BBSHD and most 48V 500W-750W hub motors. Fitted with the standard XT60 discharge connector and a 54.6V charge port. Charger sold separately. Always match the battery voltage to your motor and controller before fitting.

No. EAPC (Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle) e-bikes are legal on UK roads without a licence, insurance, or registration, provided the motor assists only while pedalling and is limited to 250 W / 15.5 mph.
Range depends on the battery size, rider weight, terrain, and assist level. Check the specific product specification for its stated range; typical figures are 40–120 miles per charge.
Most batteries charge in 3–6 hours from flat using the supplied charger. Fast-charge options (where available) can halve this time.
Yes. Our bikes carry an IP rating (see spec tab) and are designed for UK weather. Avoid submerging the battery or motor. Dry and lightly oil the drivetrain after wet rides.
