The classic Hailong down-tube frame battery, the most common pack format used with Bafang BBS-series mid-drive and rear-hub conversion kits. This 48V 17.5Ah version (840Wh) uses genuine Samsung 35E 18650 cells for dependable range and cycle life. The Hailong G-series case bolts to the bottle-cage mounts on the down tube and locks with a keyed cradle for quick removal. Features a 5V USB output, power button with charge LEDs and a 30A continuous BMS. Supplied with a base plate, mounting hardware, a 54.6V 2A charger and two keys. As a bare battery it has no throttle or motor rating — combined with a 250W pedal-assist kit the bike is UK road-legal (EAPC); combined with a higher-power or throttle kit it is for off-road / private land use only.
All e-bikes sold by VOLTARC come with the full manufacturer's warranty. Coverage typically includes:

No. EAPC (Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle) e-bikes are legal on UK roads without a licence, insurance, or registration, provided the motor assists only while pedalling and is limited to 250 W / 15.5 mph.
Range depends on the battery size, rider weight, terrain, and assist level. Check the specific product specification for its stated range; typical figures are 40–120 miles per charge.
Most batteries charge in 3–6 hours from flat using the supplied charger. Fast-charge options (where available) can halve this time.
Yes. Our bikes carry an IP rating (see spec tab) and are designed for UK weather. Avoid submerging the battery or motor. Dry and lightly oil the drivetrain after wet rides.
