The Bafang BBS02B 500W steps the legendary mid-drive platform up to a punchy 48V 500W output with plenty of low-down torque for steep trails and loaded touring. Mounted at the bottom bracket, it sends power through your gears for strong climbing performance, and is supplied with both pedal-assist and a full hand/thumb throttle for instant power on demand. Fits a standard threaded BSA bottom bracket and includes the motor unit, lockring spanner, chainring, motor-cut-off brake levers, PAS sensor, colour display, gear sensor and full wiring loom. For off-road / private land use only — not road-legal in the UK. Its 500W rating and full throttle place it outside the UK EAPC limits, so it must only be ridden on private land or off-road with the landowner’s permission.
