The Lapierre e-Urban 4.4 is a practical low-step city e-bike built around Bosch’s dependable Active Line Plus drive unit, delivering 50 Nm of smooth, quiet pedal assistance to a maximum of 25 km/h. Power comes from a frame-integrated 400 Wh Bosch battery managed through a Bosch Purion display, giving clear control over assistance levels and trip data on your daily commute or weekend ride.

Gearing is handled by a reliable Shimano Tourney 8-speed setup with an 11-34T spread, while Shimano hydraulic disc brakes on 160mm rotors provide confident all-weather stopping. An RST Volant fork with 50mm of travel and 27.5in Continental Contact Urban tyres smooth out rough city surfaces. Supplied ready to ride with lights, full mudguards and a rear luggage rack, it is offered in 41, 46, 51 and 56cm frames.

As a 250W pedal-assist EAPC limited to 15.5 mph, this bike is fully road-legal in the UK.

UK road-legal (EAPC)

This electric bike meets UK Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) requirements: a 250W motor providing pedal-assistance that cuts off at 15.5 mph (25 km/h). It can be ridden on UK roads, cycle paths and bridleways with no licence, registration, road tax or insurance required, by riders aged 14 or over.
