A Closer Look at the Talaria Komodo TL6000
754 Nm of peak wheel torque and a 32kW (43hp) peak motor put the Komodo TL6000 in a different bracket to a typical off-road electric bike — for comparison, that torque figure is several times what you’d find on a Sur-Ron Light Bee or Talaria Sting. Combined with a 66mph top speed and 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds, it’s positioned as Talaria’s flagship “super-moto” platform rather than a step-up trail bike, which is why Talaria pairs it with three selectable ride modes (Eco, Sport and Hyper) and a four-level regenerative braking system to keep that power manageable.
Power comes from a 97.2V 45Ah lithium-ion battery pack, giving a manufacturer-quoted range of up to 70 miles — well beyond what most off-road sessions need in a single outing, and useful if you’re covering serious ground between charges on private land.
Who Rides the Komodo TL6000, and Where
This is a bike for experienced off-road riders who want maximum performance — riders upgrading from a Sur-Ron, Talaria Sting or MX4 and looking for a significant step up in power, or those coming from a full-size petrol enduro or super-moto. Like every bike in our off-road range, the Komodo TL6000 is for private land and closed-course use only and is not road-legal in standard UK configuration; its power output makes this restriction more important than ever, not less.
Setup & Care
Charge the battery fully before your first ride and follow the manufacturer’s guidance on storage charge level between sessions. Given the higher power output, check suspension settings and tyre pressures more carefully than you would on a lower-powered off-road bike, and use the regenerative braking levels to manage descents and reduce mechanical brake wear.
