Rated at a nominal 250W with cadence-sensor pedal-assist and an optional 6km/h walk-assist mode only, this kit is road-legal in the UK (EAPC) for riders aged 14 and over — no registration, tax or insurance required. The front-drive layout keeps your existing rear cassette and derailleur untouched, making it one of the simplest ways to electrify a hardtail or hybrid commuter. Supplied with the motor wheel, 5-pin colour display, brake cut-off levers, PAS sensor and waterproof Higo connectors. Pair with any of our 36V Hailong or Reention down-tube batteries.
This electric bike meets UK Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) requirements: a 250W motor providing pedal-assistance that cuts off at 15.5 mph (25 km/h). It can be ridden on UK roads, cycle paths and bridleways with no licence, registration, road tax or insurance required, by riders aged 14 or over.

No. EAPC (Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle) e-bikes are legal on UK roads without a licence, insurance, or registration, provided the motor assists only while pedalling and is limited to 250 W / 15.5 mph.
Range depends on the battery size, rider weight, terrain, and assist level. Check the specific product specification for its stated range; typical figures are 40–120 miles per charge.
Most batteries charge in 3–6 hours from flat using the supplied charger. Fast-charge options (where available) can halve this time.
Yes. Our bikes carry an IP rating (see spec tab) and are designed for UK weather. Avoid submerging the battery or motor. Dry and lightly oil the drivetrain after wet rides.
