The Bafang M500 is a compact, OEM-grade crank-drive (mid-motor) from Bafang’s integrated M-series, using a torque sensor for refined, responsive assistance and a sleek alloy housing that integrates neatly into purpose-built frames. While the M500 platform is rated nominally at 250W, this VOLTARC build is configured and supplied as a high-output off-road unit with a full throttle and de-restricted firmware delivering up to 95Nm. For off-road / private land use only — not road-legal in the UK. As configured here with full throttle and de-restricted output it falls outside the UK EAPC limits and must only be ridden on private land or off-road with permission. Includes the M500 mid-motor, torque-sensing bottom bracket, display and wiring loom; intended for integration into a compatible M-series frame.
